Seasons in the Calendar of Life
"Summer Fruit"

Evening Prayer of Focus
Thank you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Once again, You have shown Yourself
to be faithful and true to Your promises
through the moments and hours of this day.

You have spoken, and we have turned
our hearts to listen.
You have acted, and we have turned
our hearts to see what You have accomplished.
You have loved us well in body and soul
and for that we are eternally grateful.

Let Your grace and presence both
surround and embrace us in this time together.
In Jesus' living name, we come. Amen

All Creatures of Our God and King
All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice with us and sing
Oh praise Him, Alleluia!
O burning sun with golden beam
And silver moon with softer gleam
Oh praise Him! Oh praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

O flowing waters clear and pure
Make music for your Lord to hear
Oh praise Him, Alleluia!
All flowers and fruits that in Thee grow
Let them God's glory also show
Oh praise Him! Oh praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Let all things their creator bless
And worship God in humbleness
Oh praise Him, Alleluia!
O praise the Father, praise the Son
And praise the Spirit Three in One
Oh praise Him! Oh praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Psalm 147:4-5
He determines the number of stars;
He gives to all of them their names
Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
His understanding is beyond measure
Indescribable
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation's revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky
And You know them by name
You are amazing God
All powerful, untamable
Awestruck we fall to our knees
As we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom

Incomparable, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same

It's Clear To Me
Like a cloudless morning sky it's clear to me
It's clear to me that You're my God
Like a soulful moonlit sky it's clear to me
It's clear to me that You're my God

The heavens are telling of Your glory
The beautiful work of Your hands
How majestic is Your name in all the earth
It's clear to me that You're my God

Like a restful summer breeze it's clear to me
It's clear to me that You're my God
Like a peaceful winter snow it's clear to me
It's clear to me that You're my God

It's clear to me
It's clear to me
It's clear to me
It's clear to me that You're my God

Like a prayerful need realized it's clear to me
It's clear to me that You're my God
Like a faithful father's love it's clear to me
It's clear to me that You're my God

Psalm 89:1
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever:
with my mouth will I make known The
faithfulness to all generations.

Great is Thy Faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with thee
Thou changest not Thy compassions they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever will be

Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature on manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love

Lord, You are faithful, faithful to me

Seasons in the Calendar of Life
"Summer Fruit"

Reading
This is what the Lord God showed me: behold, a basket of summer fruit. And he said, "Amos, what do you see?" And I said, "A basket of summer fruit." Then the Lord said to me, "The end has come upon my people Israel; I will never again pass by them. (Amos 8:2 ESV)

The donkeys are for the kings household to ride on, the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat, and the wine for those who faint in the wilderness to drink. (2 Samuel 16:2b ESV)

O Heshbon and Elealeh; for over your summer fruit and your harvest the shout has ceased. (Isaiah 16:9b ESV)

And they gathered wine and summer fruits in great abundance. (Jeremiah 40:12b ESV)

Woe is me! For I have become as when the summer fruit has been gathered, (Micah 7:1a ESV)

Communion
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26 ESV)

Communion Verse
We have come to You
We have come to You
Make Your presence know to us

Blessing
May the Lord bless us and keep us;
May he make His face shine upon us, and be gracious to us,
May he lift up His countenance upon us, and give us peace.
(Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV)
