Seasons
"Seasons in the Calendar of Life"

Psalm 92:1-5a
It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to Your name, O Most high;

to declare Your steadfast love in the morning,
and Your faithfulness by night,
to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre.

For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your work;
at the works of Your hand I sing for joy.

How great are Your works, O Lord!
Joyful
Joyful joyful we adore You
God of glory, Lord of love
Hearts unfold like flowers before You
Opening to the sun above

Melt the clouds of sin and sadness
Drive the dark of doubt away
Giver of eternal gladness
Fill us with the light of day

You are the One who saves
You are the One who saves
You are the One whose hands
Lift us from the grave

You are the light of life
The everlasting day
You are the One who takes
All our sins away

You are giving and forgiving
Ever blessing, ever blessed
Fountain of the joy of living
Ocean depths of happy rest

Jesus You are my rescue
Jesus You are my rescue
I give You everything I am

Psalm 147:4-5
He determines the number of stars;
He gives to all of them their names
Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
His understanding is beyond measure
Indescribable
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation's revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky
And You know them by name
You are amazing God
All powerful, untamable
Awestruck we fall to our knees
As we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom

Incomparable, unchangable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same

King of Creation
Beautiful Savior, King of creation
Son of God and Son of Man
Truly I'd love Thee, Truly I'd serve Thee
Light of my soul my joy my crown

Fair are the meadows, fair are the woodlands
Robed in flowers of blooming spring
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer
He makes our sorrowing spirit sing

King of creation
We praise Your name

Fair is the sunshine, fair is the moonlight
Bright the sparkling stars on high
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels in the sky

Beautiful Savior, Lord of the nations
Son of God and Son of Man
Glory and honor praise adoration
Now and forevermore be Thine

1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks to God,
who gives us the victory
through our Lord, Jesus Christ

Desert Song
This is my prayer in the desert
When all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

This is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved of more worth than gold
So refine me lord through the flame

I will bring praise, I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice, I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

This is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

All of my life in every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've received I will sow

Reading
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease. (Genesis 8:22 ESV)

Communion
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26 ESV)

Communion Verse
We have come to You
We have come to You
Make Your presence know to us

Blessing
May the Lord bless us and keep us;
May he make His face shine upon us, and be gracious to us,

Common Senses ~ Hunger
"Happy Hour"

Gracious God

Gracious God we've come to gather
As your children at your knee
Gracious God we've come to gather
Singing joyfully to Thee

Gracious God we've come to worship You
For all the love you've poured on us
Gracious God we've come to worship You
For Your unending, boundless love

Hear the passion in our voices
Feel the hunger in our heart
See the joy upon our faces
Gracious God

Gracious God we've come to praise You
For the splendor You impart
Gracious God we've come to praise You
From the bottom of our heart

Stir Up A Hunger
Day into night
You can turn the dark into light
You can take a soul that was lost
And turn it around
Lord on my own
My heart can turn as hard as a stone
But You can make it tender again
With Your love

Stir up a hunger
Stir up a hunger in my heart
Nothing will satisfy me
Nothing else will do
Stir up a hunger
A hunger in my heart
Stir up a hunger in my heart
For more of You (You)

A Greater Grace
With a friendly neighboring love,
You look over me
With a still and silent voice
You speak to me
With a warm forgiving smile
Lord, You adore me
With a simple childlike trust
I draw you nearer, nearer
Nearer to me

You give a greater grace
Then I ever could imagine
Humbled I surrender my pride
You give a greater grace
Then I ever could imagine
Now I'm awash in heaven's tide

With a faithful guardian love
You watch over me
With a strong and guiding hand
You provide for me
With a gentle forgiving heart
Lord, You adore me
With a simple childlike trust
I draw you nearer, nearer
Nearer to me

I stand humbled
I stand humbled
Humbled in Your presence

As I draw nearer to You
You draw nearer to me
The more I surrender
The more I'm free

© Eddy Mann

Hungry
Hungry I come to You
For I know You satisfy
I am empty
But I know Your love
Does not run dry
And so I wait for You
So I wait for You

I'm falling on my knees
Offering all of me
Jesus You're all
This heart is living for

Broken I run to You
For Your arms are open wide
I am weary
But I know Your touch
Restores my life
And so I wait for You
So I wait for You

"Happy Hour"

Reading: Psalm 107:4-9
Some wandered in desert wastes,
    finding no way to a city to dwell in;
hungry and thirsty,
    their soul fainted within them.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.
He led them by a straight way
till they reached a city to dwell in.
Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
For he satisfies the longing soul,
and the hungry soul he fills with good things.

"The Blink of an Eye"

I Will Worship

I will worship you Lord my God
With my whole heart, soul and strength
And I will sing to you for all you’ve done
And thank you for your grace

And I will worship you Lord my God in this earthen vessel
And I will worship you Lord my God in this jar of clay

I will worship…
Jesus, You’re my very best friend

Hallelujah, I praise you Lord
You’re my Savior and my God
Hallelujah, Praise the Son
My Redeemer, Holy One

Oh, Hallelujah

© Joseph John Orchulli II

More Than Amazing
You're the one who walked on water
And you calmed the raging seas
You command the highest mountains
To fall upon their knees

You're the one who welcomed sinners
And you opened blinded eyes
You restored the brokenhearted
And you brought the dead to life

Forgetting all our sins
You remember all your promises

You are amazing
More than amazing
Forever our God
You're more than enough
You are amazing

With authority you've spoken
And you've set the captive free
You're the King who came to serve
You're the God who washed our feet

You're the one who took our burdens
And you bled upon the cross
In your kindness and your mercy
You became the way for us

Oh how marvelous
Oh how wonderful
Oh how glorious
You are amazing
Oh how marvelous
Oh how wonderful
Oh how glorious
You are amazing

How Sweet It Is
How sweet it is to be loved by you. How sweet it is to be loved by you.

I needed the shelter of someone's arms and there you were.
I needed someone to understand my ups and downs and there you were.
With sweet love and devotion, deeply touching my emotion,
I want to stop and thank you Jesus. I just want to stop and thank you Lord.
How sweet it is to be loved by you. How sweet it is to be loved by you.

I close my eyes at night wondering where would I be without you in my life.
Everything I did was just a bore, everywhere I went it seems I'd been there before.
But you brighten up for me all of my days with a love so sweet in so many ways,
I want to stop and thank you Jesus, I just want to stop and thank you Lord.
How sweet it is to be loved by you, feels so fine. How sweet it is to be loved by you.

You were better for me than I was for myself,
for me, there's you and there ain't nobody else,
I want to stop and thank you Jesus. I just want to stop and thank you Lord, yes I do,
How sweet it is to be loved by you. How sweet it is to be loved by you.
Feels so fine, how sweet it is to be loved by you.
Just like Philly, Jesus, oh yeah, how sweet it is to be loved by you.
Just like honey to the bee, Lord, how sweet it is to be loved by you.

How Deep the Father's Love
How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
And make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory

Behold the man upon the cross
My sin upon His shoulder
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

"The Blink of an Eye"

Reading: Psalm 90:1-6
Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
You return man to dust and say, “Return, O children of man!”
For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.
You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream,
like grass that is renewed in the morning:
in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers.

"You Don't Choose a Life. You Live One ~ The Way"

Amazed

You dance over me
While I am unaware
(And) You sing all around
But I never hear the sound

Lord I'm amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed by You
Lord I'm amazed by You
HowYou love me

You paint the morning sky
With miracles in mind
My hope will always stand
For You hold me in Your hand

How wide
How deep
How great
Is Your love for me

Psalm 8
Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
   in the heavens.

Through the praise of children and infants
  you have established a stronghold
  against your enemies,
ti silence the foe and the avenger.

When I consider your heavens,
  the work of your fingers,
  the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,

what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?

You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.

You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet

all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,

the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth (ESV)

Majestic
O Lord our Lord
How majestic is
Your name in all the earth

The heavens declare Your greatness
The oceans cry out to You
The mountains they bow down before You
So I'll join with the earth
And I'll give my praise to You

I will worship You
I will worship You
We will worship You
We will worship You

I Will Exalt You
I will exalt You
I will exalt You
I will exalt You
You are my God

My hiding place
My safe refuge
My treasure Lord, You are
My friend and King
Anointed One most holy

Because Your with me
Because Your with me
Because Your with me
I will not fear

Common Senses ~ Pain

Reading
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
thought the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though it's waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at it's swelling.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Come behold the works of the LORD,

how he has brought desolations on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
  he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
"Be still and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!"
The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
  (Psalm 46 ESV)

A Mighty Fortress
A mighty fortress is our God
A sword and shield victorious
He breaks the cruel oppressors rod
And wins salvation glorious
The old satanic foe
Has sworn to work us woe
With craft and dreadful might
He arms himself to fight
On earth he has no equal

No strength of ours can match his might
We would be lost, rejected
But now a champion comes to fight
Whom God himself elected
You ask who this may be
The Lord of hosts is he!
Christ Jesus mighty Lord
God's only Son, adored
He holds the field victorious

God's word forever shall abide
No thanks to foes who fear it
For God himself fights by our side
With weapons of the spirit
Were they to take our house
Goods, honor, child or spouse
Though life be wrench away
They cannot win the day
The Kingdom's our forever
