Common Senses ~ Touch
"The Hem"

Holy Spirit
There's nothing worth more that will ever come close
No thing can compare You're our living hope
Your Presence Lord

I've tasted and seen of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free and mu shame is undone
In Your Presence Lord

Holy Spirit You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory God is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your Presence Lord

Let us become more aware of Your presence
Let us experience the glory of Your goodness (Lord)

I don't want to miss You
I don't want to miss what You are doing
I don't want to miss You
I don't want to miss how You are moving

Find Me Faithful
Find me faithful, ever faithful
This is the goal of my life
Through blessings and sorrows
To the end I will follow
I make this the goal of my life

I fix my eyes on the prize
The author of my faith my life
Help me keep looking straight ahead

Along this long and winding road
I've strayed and traveled on my own
It's only in surrender
I can stay upon this road
That will someday lead me home

Hem
I reach out and cling to my Savior's hand
I reach out and touch the hem
When I need peace of mind nothing else can satify
I reach out and touch the hem

And when I need healing in my body oh
I reach out and touch His robe
I cry dear Lord have mercy on my soul
I reach out and touch His robe

I reach our and touch
The hem of His garment
Reach out and touch His robe
I cry out Lord
Through the power of the Holy Ghost
Reach out and touch His robe
And I'm made whole

When sin and its passion lure me away
I reach out and touch His robe
Helps me turn away from bad
Helps me be a better man
I reach out and touch His robe

Make us whole
Make us whole
Make us whole

There was an old lady in the Bible that says
Who was sick and close to desth
Well she broke through the crowd
And touched the hem of Jesus' robe
And on that day was healed made whole

She reached out and touched
The hem of His garment
Reached out and touched His robe
She cried out Lord
Through the power of the Holy Ghost
Reached out and touched His robe
And was made whole

Healing Rain
Healing rain is coming down
It's coming nearer to this old town
Rich and poor, weak and strong
It's bringing mercy, it won't be long

Healing rain is coming down
It's coming closer to the lost and found
Tears of joy, and tears of shame
Are washed forever in Jesus' name

Healing rain, it comes with fire
So let it fall and take us higher
Healing rain, I'm not afraid
To be washed in Heaven's rain

Lift your heads, let us return
To the mercy seat where time began
And in your eyes, I see the pain
Come soak this crying heart
...with healing rain

And only you, the Son of man
Can take a leper and let him stand
So lift your hands, they can be held
By someone greater, the great I AM

Healing rain is falling down
healing rain is falling down
I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid

Reading
As Jesus went, the people pressed round him. And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians, she could not be healed by anyone. She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately her discharge of blood ceased. And Jesus said, "Who was it that touched me?" When all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in on you!" But Jesus said, "Someone touched me, for I perceive that power has gone out from me." And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed. And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace,." (Luke 8:43-48 ESV)

Where Heaven Touches Earth
Father catch my stumbling words
Tumble on to my passionate surge
While I am still
Sovereign, loving, patient, Savior
O' that I'd be in your favor
Let it be your will

I come weary, heavy-laden
I come messy, humbly prayin'
To where heaven touches earth
I come honest, searching, seeking
I come childlike, plainly speaking
To where heaven touches earth

Pure and simple hear my prayer
Innocent ramblings of joy and despair
While I am still
Sovereign, loving, patient, Savior
O' that I'd be in your favor
Let it be your will

Launching myself into glorious praise
My love overflowing unabashed and ablaze
I can't help but marvel and stand here amazed
Where heaven touches earth

Communion
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26 ESV)

Blessing
May the Lord bless us and keep us;
May he make His face shine upon us, and be gracious to us,
May he lift up His countenance upon us, and give us peace.
(Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV)
