Where Heaven Touches Earth
Father catch my stumbling words
Tumble on to my passionate surge
While I am still
Sovereign, loving, patient, Savior
O’ that I’d be in Your favor
Let it be Your will
I come weary, heavy-laden
I come messy, humbly praying
To where heaven touches earth
I come honest, searching, seeking
I come childlike plainly speaking
To where heaven touches earth
Pure and simple hear my prayer
Innocent ramblings of joy and despair
While I am still
Sovereign, loving, patient, Savior
O’ that I’d be in Your favor
Let it be Your will
Launching myself into glorious praise
My love overflowing unabashed and ablaze

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” (Matthew 26:26-29 ESV)
Blessing
May the Lord bless us and keep us;
May he make His face shine upon us, and be gracious to us,
May he lift up His countenance upon us and give us peace.
(Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV)
And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him. (Esther 4:13-17 ESV)
“Indeed, my plans are not like your plans, and my deeds are not like your deeds, 9 for just as the sky is higher than the earth, so my deeds are superior to your deeds and my plans superior to your plans (Isaiah 55:8-9 ESV)
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice! 5 Let everyone see your gentleness. The Lord is near! 6 Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7 ESV)
How great is God--beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out. (Job 36:26 NIV)
